Did you know Sugar and Carbohydrates cause Heart Attacks, Strokes, Diabetes, and Cancer

The simple truth is sugar and carbohydrates are killing us. The simple solution is to wean foods like grains, beans, milk, night shade plants, sugars and products with high fructose corn syrup from our diet. As we avoid these foods, our triglycerides (a bad cholesterol) decreases and so does the inflammation in our body and the body can then heal itself. What we need to realize is there are foods (Carbohydrates and vegetable oils) we eat that cause inflammation and promote illness. This inflammation causes obesity, arthritis, heart attacks, strokes, autoimmune diseases, irritable bowel disease, heart burn, and a host of other illnesses.

The second part of the equation is HDL. HDL is the good cholesterol. HDL increases as we eat fish, consume fish oil or other Omega 3 products like flax seed oil. I recommend at least 2-4 grams per day. Omega-3 fatty acids are anti-inflammatory and make up the cell wall of every cell. Therefore, it decreases the inflammatory response to sunlight, infection or whatever trauma. To help decrease inflammation, it is essential to avoid all vegetable or seed oils which contain omega-6 fatty acids. (see the section below on Fish Oil)

So the goal to better health is to decrease your triglyceride levels and increase your HDL levels. Below is a video on the triglyceride/HDL ratio and how easy it is to reverse heart disease. If you have desires to learn more, and you desire to prevent heart disease, hypertension, or diabetes, please make an appointment.

Hormone Replacement Therapy

My wife and I are 66 years old. We have been taking HRT for over 6 years and continue to feel like we’re in our forties. Martha is taking estradiol, progesterone and testosterone to reverse her osteoporosis because she is afraid of the side effects of the oral bisphosphate medication.

We take them because we know low hormone levels are associated with dementia/Alzheimer’s, urinary incontinence, vaginitis, poor vaginal lubrication, heart attacks, strokes, muscle atrophy and weakness, thin aging skin, feelings of being tired, depression, and macular degeneration. Because we are in the winter years of our lives, we chose to avoid these issues by keeping our hormone levels at optimal levels.

If you desire to have more energy, and would like to avoid the consequences of low hormone levels, please contact Dr. Rupert to see if he can help you with prescribing bioidentical hormones.

Treatment of COVID requires action from day one. In the first 8 days, the virus is replicating, making COVID patients spreaders. Preventing viral replication is accomplished by rinsing your nose and mouth three times a day, taking zinc along with a zinc ionophore, and building your immune system. Monitoring your oxygenation with a pulse oximeter is essential and prepares us for the second phase of treatment.

Pulse oximeters showing oxygen levels below 95% require a doctor visit; oxygen levels below 92% require oxygen; and oxygen levels below 88% require hospitalization. If patients have pulse oximeter readings drop from normal levels to 92%, high dose prednisone is prescribed.

It has been found that multiple therapeutics work better synergistically than by themselves. We know zinc kills all viruses, but zinc cannot get into the cell unless it is carried into the cell by a zinc ionophore like Quercetin, Hydroxychloroquine and a medication that rhymes with eyebermec-tin. Other therapeutics include high-dose vitamin C, vitamin D3, zinc, NAC, nicotine, fish oil and monoclonal antibodies. Please press the FLCCC button below, giving greater detail on these other therapeutics, or contact Dr. Rupert.

Did you know early intervention and treatment of Covid prevents hospitalization and saves lives?

Second Opinions with Chronic Pain

If you have pain and are not making progress with the healing process, many times another problem exists that is not being addressed. A second opinion is always a good option. I tell my patients, if the force that caused the injury can cause a herniated disc, then that same force most likely injured the soft tissues (muscles and ligaments). Telemedicine allows us to review MRIs and other diagnostic images and helps guide you in the proper care with the correct physician.

Did you know lectins, agglutinins, and casein can cause heart burn, arthritis, asthma, skin rashes and autoimmune problems? These proteins cause inflamation in all tissues.

Lectins are proteins found in grains, beans, peanuts, cashews, cow’s milk, whey protein, and night shade plants like tomatoes and potatoes. These proteins are able to cause tight junctions in the epithelial lining of the gut to become permeable (i.e. Leaky Gut Syndrome), allowing lectins and bacteria to pass into the blood stream and spread through the entire body. These lectins travel via the blood stream and attach to the epithelial lining of a given organ weakening our immune system.

So, if we have lectins attaching to the epithelial lining of the heart, we now have leaky heart syndrome where the very small dense oxidized LDL particles can collect under the epithelial space making atherosclerotic plaques.

Leaky gut and leaky heart are caused by eating foods containing lectins. The carbohydrates from these substances is turned into sugar. Please watch the video on triglyceride/HDL ratio.

If you have desire to lose weight caused by lectins, or if you want to prevent heart attacks, strokes, heart burn, stomach pain, asthma, skin rashes, or chronic joint pain, I would invite you to contact me.

Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

Urinary tract infections are a common infection, occurring more with women than men. The symptoms include burning with urination, frequency, blood in urine, and even back pain. If a UTI is not treated, symptoms can progress to sepsis with symptoms of fever, weakness, low blood pressure, lethargy and even death.

The treatment is usually an antibiotic and drinking fluids. Fluids include water and cranberry juice. Cranberry juice has not been documented in the literature.

Did you know that urinary incontinece and urinary tract infections in women during menopause can be caused by low levels of estradiol and progesterone, and is call Gentiourinary Syndrome.

Below is a button labeled “UTI.” It is a Mayo Clinic paper with further education. If you need help, please make an appointment.

Did you know eating fish and having Fish Oil prevents sunburn, heart attacks and some skin cancers

The studies shows that eating fish and supplementing with fish oil increases the Omega 3 fatty acids in the cell membrane of every cell. This increase in Omega 3 fatty acids stablizes every cells by making them anti inflamatory which prevents sunburn, heart attacks, strokes, and melanoma. Increasing our daily intake of Omega 3 is not enough but when we decrease our Omega 6 consumption by avoiding vegatable or seeds oils from corn, canola, grapes seed, etc., we Increase the Omega 3 index. (See video blow on Omega 3 index) The Omega 3 index, is a blood test which measures the Omega 3 fatty acids in the cell membrane and when the omega 3 index is above 8%, the risk of heart attacks decrease 90%.

The Studies are clear that everyone should be eating fish or foods with Omega 3 fatty acids or supplementing their diet with Fish Oil or flax seed oil.

I recommend taking 2-4 grams of Omega 3 fatty acids which contain DHA and EPA.
